Culver City Art Walk.

This Saturday is the Culver City Art Walk! A busy day of aesthetic wanderings. You can grab a map here (PDF) or at one of the 42 galleries involved in the event. My space will be open until 8pm so use your last opportunity to check the current show on view.
Also, this year, LACMA is organizing an after-the-walk party which will take place at the giant furniture mall, HD Buttercup in Culver City. The tickets are kind of a joke, $35 for a mere 3 hours of partying (?!)… yet it should be pretty interesting… or not. I propose a flash mob directly in the streets (why not just in front of the mastodon) for a true party.

You can also go Downtown for the MOCA’s Summer Party and Silent Auction, generously titled "Fresh" (who comes up with those names?) which starts at 7pm with a less generous price of $120. The list of artworks is pretty fat and exciting. As always, I came across a few favorites… It should be a pretty intense night.
Otherwise, check the calendar. Have a good weekend.
