The Flog

Warm November Publications For The Soul.

I am buried in shots taken during studio visits, so I thought I would do a little post on books for you to snack on while I edit my terabyte.

To start off things, I have this quirky little zine by the Paris based artist n’roll aka Jean-Philippe Bretin entitled Serpan’s advanture [sic] (“Serpan” being a cute bastardization of the word “Serpent” which means snake in French). 20 pages, edition of 100. While browsing his portfolio, I came across this intriguing series of 32 landscapes which I also quite like.

And a special mention needed to be made to Noah Kalina who has been rigorously posting about his weekly book purchases since a month now. I love the idea and his picks are always a treat.

All images by Noah Kalina, cropped by me because I like aspect ratio consistency.
